Wow Day One

I have a dream.   That is the best way for me to start this out.   My dream is my goal.  I want to become a farmer.   I want to grow organic herbs in my backyard and market them to local grocers and farmers markets.  We all are impressed with the leaps and bounds that fresh herb selection has made thus far; however, I noticed a missing niche.  There is nothing like going to the garden and trimming up your own basil for a pesto, or perhaps gathering a nice handful of fresh rosemary and lavender for a soothing foot bath, even more divine is the icy minty lemonade made from fresh squeezed lemon juice and mint pinched that very morning from the dew.     So I started thinking I should share some of my joy of herbs from my gardens to others.  I have done a little research and there is certainly a market in my area for profits to be made... so why not give it a go?

Where to begin,   my current situation is pretty good.  I am looking to rent a house, close to my work, close to my church, and with land.   I just moved out of a house that was too far out of town.   I want to be able to grow and live in peace with the serenity that country life provides and will be returning to that life at some point.  In the meantime, this house will be perfect.  They will allow me to plant my gardens.   The house is quaint, and I am certain it will be a nice place to live, grow and save.   So the next step is to get moved in and get settled.

Tomorrow I will get the information over to the rental company that is requested and hope to be in the new house by Friday.  Sorting the boxes and getting ready to start devouring seed magazines that will soon be arriving.   I am excited.
